Little man's first Western Idaho Fair

We were so excited to take Myles to the fair this year, we knew he would have a blast, and that he did. It was so much fun showing him all of the animals, antique tractor's, watching the little tikes on the rides, can't wait until next year when he can go on a few. The fair for us was an experience of a lifetime, one to never forget. Little thing's that we would have found terribly boring, like the vegetable judging was a blast. I know, sounds crazy, but Myles loved the bold color's of the pumpkins, tomatoes and cucumber's. Proudly pushing him in the stroller, beaming and whispering to each other, "We are at the fair with our son." It's funny, at times it seems still like a dream. Throughout the day, every smile, laugh, coo, hug, and joy of showing him new thing's, I say to myself " you have a son." It still makes me step back and cry, just as if we just brought him home yesterday. Yearning, hoping, praying that someday our dream would come true, and it has. We have everything we ever wanted, little Myles.

Mr. America

Here are some more cutesy pictures of Myles. Jay took Myles to a Western reenactment last weekend. They have been a couple of times already, and Myles loves the action of the battle! Also, Myles now eats rice cereal......and loves it. He knows exactly what do to, when. Each time I say "ready" he sticks his tongue out as far as it will go, it is the cutest thing ever. He also has a fascination with the shower nozzle. He ques us on when he is ready for a sip of water by sticking his tongue out, and loves it when we run the nozzle across his tongue. He is so entertaining. Life just couldn't get any better!

Hanging out with the Myles

Okay, so I haven't posted in a few weeks due to our Internet having technical difficulties. After hours upon hours of chatting with the lovely folks at Cable One, we are up and running, full steam ahead! Our computer is working over time, catching up! We have had too much fun to only include in one post over the past few weeks, so I hope you enjoy. Here are some pictures of our lazy weekend, lounging and playing. Myles has discovered just how handsome he is. Each time he looks into the mirror on his play gym, he smiles, coos and laughs, it is the cutest darn thing. We also visited Aunt Lisa where Myles played, played, then played some more. Bradie, Myle's cousin has a mini chair that we thought would be fun to put him in. Cozy as ever, Myles had a blast playing with all of the animals. What a good weekend we had. We love you Aunt Lisa!

Splish, Splash!

It's official.......Myles loves the water! The last few weekends, we've spent soaking up the sun in the pool. Extra sunblock used, of course. Myles is a natural swimmer. As we placed him in the Cadillac of floaties, he immediately started kicking his feet under the water! He was so content just soaking in the water, smiling and splashing. I think this means we shall take him for swim lesson's at the YMCA, Yaaayyyyy! Jay had filled our not so amazing plastic pool one fine, hot day, we decided to just splash around and get our toes wet. Well, too much fun was being had, and before we knew it, all of us were soaking wet, with our clothes on. Gosh, what a fun day it was.
Stay tuned for more adventures with Myles!
