Let Halloween begin!

Oh, how we love halloween! Tricking, treating, tricking some more. This is the time of the year when Jay and I can officially act immature. Lot's of fun, using scary masks, hearing screams, decorating and dressing up. Oh, the fun Myles has in store for him. Last weekend we picked pumpkins at Linder Farms, fed animals and ate junk food. The following day, we celebrated the second annual "Pumpkin Shananigans." Our friends gather round all of the weirdo's from work. (Most of us are quite weird, you have to be to work in health care.) We all sit in the middle of her kitchen floor, throw all of the pumpkin innerds or "shananigans"in the center of the floor. We all make our magical and beautiful pumpkins, each showing off our gorgeous work. Not always so beautiful though. A good time always to be expected at beloved Pumpkin Shananigans. Oh, how we love our friends! Next weekend excursions include scary masks. Watch out my little pretties!

Extra, Extra... Myles 6 months photo's are in!

What a blast these photo's were. Myles decided to take a piddle on the floor not once, but twice. The freedom of the cool air brought inspiration. Imagining of being in the great outdoors. Oh Myles, what an adventurer you are! Unfortunately my hard wood floor is not a pine tree. Easy clean up though. Myles now holds his own bottle, sits for multiple minutes by himself without tumbling over. His personality is really shining through and what a little tease he is. A smile or laugh is almost always being shown. A lot of laughs in our house these days. How could life get any better?

Time for court!

Here are some more pictures from our beloved court date. What a special day, spent with some special people. We are blessed to be a part of your life. We love you!

One special little guy!

Well, it's official. We are now legally Myles parents! Court was scary, but at the same time wonderful. Myles sat behind the table on my lap, just as quiet as can be. The judge smiled and adored at how cute he was. The attorney asked "how has Myles changed your life?" Trying to speak, but with crackling words spilling from my mouth instead, my answer? "He completes our family. We have never laughed, smiled and had as much fun as we have the past 6 months." The miracle of adoption and some wonderful souls gave us this experience, a gift we will cherish forever. A love and bond so strong, nothing could break. We all love you so much Mr. Myles. One special little guy!
