We had a rip roar'n good time at Pojo's last night, all for under $5.00! This is a good phase in Myle's life, because he is so enamoured by all of the light's and people, he really isn't that interested in the games and rides. We couldn't resist, and got Myles on some rides, although is was more for our own selfish reason's. He's just too darn cute! First ride, Snoopy on an airplane. Oh Snoopy, such fond memories.
Next up, a car from Flintstones. I apparently was too caught up in Myles and how much he could possibly love this ride, and not noticing the surroundings. As I placed the token in the machine, Jay said, "watch out, be careful." Apparently there was a little girl behind the ride fiddling with it. I hadn't even noticed. Bad Jen, bad. I could have amputated a limb. Myle's is just so captivating. I've learned my lesson. Sorry little girl.
Okay, next was the horse who ran 5K, my pace. Myle's did like it, although unlike all other rides, this one lasted forever.
Last, but not least was the Carousel. The coolest event of the night, for sure. I was curious how Myles would like it, with the spinning round and round, but he was in awe, the light's, people, and his cool bear, creepy teeth though. Yet again, more memories with Myles. Thank you for the good time, sir!

Just fiddling around
He also loves kitchen utensils, one being the pink spatula. You go boy!
Have I mentioned before that Myles already has an addiction? White cheddar Cheeto's, of which we say Kudo's to Aunt Lisa for being the "dealer." We love you Lisa!
Myles can now crawl, and get himself into a seated position to play with his toy's, it is the cutest thing to see.

Hanging from the fixtures.
You'll never guess what Myles new favorite activity is. Yep, you guessed it, pulling the ceiling fan chain. On, then off, then on, then off. Each time we walk by it, he is inches away from belting us in the face, trying to reach for the chain. It's cute, and also works those biceps and triceps. Thanks for the workout Myles!
Myles also took me bowling last week. What a little sweetie. His first time he bowled an impressive 144, but needs to work on his curve and form. There's always next time little Myles, you need to quite expecting so much out of yourself!

Reflecting
Hooray for Rob! He somehow saved all of our pictures on our old computer, we were really scared everything was lost. 3 cheers for El Rob-o.
I find myself constantly reflecting on how life has changed for us. From the simple joy's of tucking in Myles to bed each night, to first holiday's spent with him this year. I am constantly reminded just how great life is now. A co-worker said to me last week, "remember Jen, this time last year for Christmas", I absolutely do. The picture above is from Christmas 07. My brother in law, Troy gave Jay and I this baby doll, along with money to help during one of our many invitro attempts. What a horrible couple of years they were. Living at the clinic, injecting medications daily and hormones going crazy. Only to have every call end in heartbreak. I honestly didn't know just how much more disappointment I could take, I was broken. I just wanted to be a mom. Looking back at all the pictures that were saved this weekend, thanks to brother Rob, I am reminded of all of the amazing people we have in our lives. We had so many people help us through this journey to find our son. Co-workers making Valentines Cookies to sell, homemade enchilada lunches and basket raffles. Multiple poker parties, where friends, family, even complete stranger's joined, adding money to the pot. Hundred's of people, with huge hearts, all joining us, in our dream of parenthood. All I can say is THANK YOU, you have helped make our dreams come true, we have our little Myles at last!
Myles first Christmas
Oh, what a day to remember, Myles first day of Christmas. A day we have anticipated for years and years, and what a good day it was. We spent the day over at Grandma Linda's, making a mess, eating too much, and of course presents, presents, presents. Officially, Myles has just about every toy at Toy's R Us, oh the fun. It was getting a bit warm in the house, and Myles was getting a bit cranky, so off came the clothes. He spent most of Christmas day in the buff. His cousin Avin is so cute, and loves to play with Myles. He is so gentle, and Myles gets the biggest grin every time he sees him. Myles also spent time and played with Uncle Rob who drove from San Diego to hang out with us monkey's for Christmas. It was so good to see him and to be able to meet Myles. I hope every one's Christmas was wonderful and the new year brings you Peace, Love, Health and Joy.

Jingle bells
Oh, what a perfect first Christmas Eve for Myles at Aunt Toni, Lisa and cousin bradi's house. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family, all so happy to have Myles in our lives. Don't mind the squawking bird in the background, pretending to sing. I have no idea how that darn thing got in the house anyways.
First encounter with the clause.
My work was throwing a Christmas extravaganza for the patients and there families. I served drinks, (sparkling cider and white grape fruit juice), nothing terribly exciting, as Myles flirted with all the spectator's. He laughed and coo'd at all the decorations and crazy nurses who wander the halls at Aspen. As santa arrived, we ran to be the first in line. Crazy mom madness, which I used to only laugh at. Myles didn't cry, actually, didn't notice Santa much. He was much more enthralled with my camera. Hmm, maybe next year.
Mov'n on up!
Okay, I am terribly behind on blogg'n and will do my best at playing catch up today. Coffee pot, will need overtime hours today. At Myles 9 month well-check the MD gave him the go ahead to eat soft solids. Whoop, whoop, now let the fun begin. Poncho's favorite hangout? Directly below the high chair as Myles attempts at his new cuisine. His most favorite is all natural white cheddar Cheetos. He also likes mandarin oranges, banana's, lemon's, and of course cheerios. Dislikes so far: cheese ravioli.
