A day at Ann Morrison Park

We spent the afternoon playing at the park. Myles has now learned how to rock himself on his pony at home, and now Mr. Duck. It is so funny to watch.

One of Myles favorite things: the fountain at Ann Morrison Park, Oh yea, time to play!

Boise Music Festival

We had a rock'n good time at the Boise Music Festival this year, way to go Boise! It was blazing hot outside, but we managed to escape to the shade between listening to Rebeca Scott and meandering around, checking out all of the happenings. What a busy, but fun weekend.

House duties

Yep, I know he's a little young, but Myles needs to start pulling his own weight. His new chore is unloading the dishwasher. He does a fine job, but has to taste test the silverware as he removes them, thus making this task fruitless. We shall move on to a new task, Mr. Myles.

We spent the day at Roaring Springs swimming, soaking up the sun and of course eating. When there is a lot of distractions, Myles has a hard time eating. Finally, he caved in. At this point starving, and began shoveling the food in, as you can see above. We had so much fun. Myles loves the wave pool, splashing the water and relaxing on the lazy river. Yep, can't beat summertime!

Random-ness

Can you see all the hair growing on his head? I swear, he woke up the other morning and POOF, Myles had hair! It was quite the shocker, with an extra umph needed, picking this little man up out of the crib with all the extra weight! You were a busy little bee, making all that hair that night.
We couldn't resist these Woody pajamas. He looks like a regular Cowboy, dosen't he. Myles is now walking, full steam ahead, almost running at certain points. (only when he's getting into something though) He looks at us, then bolts, with a sheepish grin.
We took Myles to Roaring Springs for the first time, bummed we didn't get any pictures, only of the after effects. The minute we got in the car, he crashed, out like a light. He had a blast and so did we. Thursday night family night at Roaring Springs, anyone? Myles had his 15 month check up, he now weighs 23 lbs and is 29" tall!
I love this time of day. Myles can hear Dad's jeep pull up after work. He, along with Poncho of course run to the door, awaiting dad's arrival.

Main Street Mile 2010

What a blast the Main Street Mile was this year. Running in the streets of boise was fantastic. The highlight of the night by far, was watching the Mascot's run. Poor basketball player in the back was hilarious! He was filled with air, which made his head a huge bobble head as he ran. We laughed, laughed and laughed some more. Nice job Mr. Basketball player!
