le chocolat

Just in case you were concerned wether or not Myles was a fan of chocolate, you may now take a sigh of relief. For he is a lover of le chocolat. We bought some chocolate animal cracker's the other day, which are absolutely delightful. Trying to keep myself as well as Myles at bay from scouring the entire bag like scavenger's is turning into quite the task. Not only are they tasty, but they also are good for finger painting it all over the face as you can see above. After a few of these tasty delight's, I as well look like Myles does. Mmmmm chocolate!

Hyde Park Street Fair

The Hyde Park Street Fair was a blast this year. It was bigger and better than any other year, with so many fun thing's to do, we were in awe. I love the atmosphere and spirit surrounding it. Feeling's of love, acceptance and peace encircling this lovely park.
We spotted a jump house in the carnival area. Considering Myles is addicted to the trampoline, we thought it was the perfect time for him to give it a shot. We were kinda nervous though, with the bigger kid's and how crowded it was. As we approached the gigantic house of air, the kid working yells out, "times up." Whew, what a relief as the kid's came barreling out, one by one. Myles had it all to himself for a few minutes to scope it out.
Kid's Myles age began entering and it was so cute to watch them attempt to stand and jump on this gigantic marshmallow.
A note to self. Take socks off before entering. Poor Myles was slip and sliding all over the place. I slithered my had through the netting and retrieved them, thus giving Myles a bit more leverage.
They also had several bands playing in separate area's of the park. As one of the bands began playing, Myles was thrilled. He wiggled out of my arms and began dancing. There was a group of people dancing in the front, where Myles joined them. What a cute little guy we have, we are just so lucky.

King of the Castle

Hear ye, hear ye. Sir Myles is speaking!

Myles has a new laugh, it's a belly laugh. Highly entertaining for all of us.

Our lovely neighbor gave Myles there son's castle he outgrew. Thank you so much lovely neighbor. It is so fun to watch him learn how to go up the steps, down the slide and get to the top of the castle, which is his favorite spot. Every time he get's to the top, he bellows, waves his arms as if he were the king. He is in our eyes, but I don't think this will go well further down the road, socially. Just in case you were wondering what is in his hands, yes it is fingernail polish. He saw me painting my toenails earlier and loved toting it around for a bit. Hmmm first high heel shoes, now nail polish. I'll go grab the football right now.

Up, up and away

What a fantastic experience we had this weekend watching the balloons at "Spirit of Boise." Myles just loves balloons, so we just knew this was something we couldn't miss out on. We showed up bright and early on Friday morning the first day, then had to get a glimpse of the night launch on Saturday. Myles was pretty enthralled at all of the action and so were we. We had never gone to this in the past, and realize just how much we missed not seeing all of the fantastic things Boise has to offer. Experiencing new things with my boy's makes it that much more wonderful.

He's got legs!

Myles loves to explore our closet. First, he heads towards the drum sticks to our Guitar Hero, after he has satisfied his beating of everything in the closet, he for some reason heads towards my heels. Not sure why, but this night he was set at putting them on. I think it is hilarious and could be a good tool to use once he hits the teenage stage! Ha ha ha.
