Lazy day

We've been baking up a storm, with Myles help of course. This day, we made white chocolate covered pretzels, yummy.

Myles loves to ring the doorbell. He'll have you outside forever, if you'll let him. Throughout the day, he'll say "ding dong", this is your cue, by the way. It's time to take him outside, again.
His favorite room by far, is our bathroom, especially my cupboard. He loves brushing and picking his hair, lotions, makeup and deodorant are also favorites, which now are located way up high.
We had a lazy day today, lounging, reading and of course running around the front room. Here are a few pics of our lazy day. Love those days!

Look who found a Christmas present, and Winter Garden Aglow

I love this picture! Myles has a hard time moving in his bulky snow suite. If he were able to write a letter, this is what I imagine it would include:
Dear Mom and Dad, Why did you buy me this awful contraption? I feel like a human marshmallow, what are you trying to do to me? I hope you find this entertaining.
Love, Myles
This morning, as I was making cookies, I heard Myles fumbling through our cabinet in the next room. Considering Myles has a history of unloading water bottles in and out of the cabinet, I wasn't alarmed. I had completely forgotten that I had quickly thrown a Christmas present in there last week. Oops, lesson learned. Minutes later, Myles brings out his bag of blocks, saying "Toy, toy. As he fumbled over the zipper, I contemplated the best thing to do. #1. let him play with the blocks for a bit, then slyly hide them again and wrap it for Christmas. He'd really be jazzed, knowing how cool it was earlier. #2. Distract him with my flavorful cookie, then throw the blocks, very nonchalantly of course on top of the fridge. As you can see, I chose option #1. This is the only year I can get away with this, so by golly, let's use it. It worked, he had a blast, so did Jay, and he's totally forgotten about them.

Sad Jay, after Myles knocked down the monster he just built.
Myles ringing the bell at Winter Garden Aglow, another highlight of the night. Myles loves bells!

We spent the evening at the wonderful Winter Garden Aglow on Saturday. It's definitely a must see every year. This was Myles first year, since it is so cold, we didn't want to brave it last year. He just loved it. His favorite attraction were the model trains. We spent quite a bit of time watching the trains go round and round, each one unique with Christmas lights, Santa Clause and Snowmen.
