Easter 2011

Easter 2011, a day to celebrate and rejoice in so many ways. Love, peace, laughter and time are memories we will hold dear in our family this day. The joy of such simple pleasures are how we spent the day. We actually celebrated the entire weekend.

Jay's mom invited us to her church Easter egg hunt on Friday. We were worried Myles wouldn't know what to do, like last year, but sure enough, he was a machine. He has played with the few Easter egg's he collected last year till now, so he was on a mission this year. Although he collected a basket full, he was so pleased at the one, the rest were ignored.

Next up, my work Easter egg hunt. A guaranteed hit every year. 1500 eggs thrown about with a jump house included. My work know's how to party it up, and party it up Myles did. Yet again, with at least 25 eggs in his basket, he was thrilled with the one, then moved back to the jump house. We all had so much fun, what a difference a year makes with holiday's.

Myles buddy Noah, giving him a hug.

The final hunt on Sunday, included lot's of recycled eggs from the previous hunts, candy included and bubbles.

Sharing his eggs with Grandpa Bart and Grandma Linda.
Finally a ride on the 4 wheeler with Dad. Myles just adores this machine, not so much the noise it exudes though.

Myles got an Elmo book for Easter, then we made Easter basket cupcakes. P.s, do not use licorice as an Easter basket handle, they brake in the middle by morning. Cry cry,Sniff sniff. What a wonderful day, wonderful life!

Boots and bubbles

Myles just diggs Jay's boots, can you tell?

Myles got a bubble blower for his birthday and what a hit it was. So much, each time he goes outside he say's, "bubbles bubbles." I'm sure the neighbors are enjoying the air filled with soapy bubbles, we sure are.

We love Kuna!

What a blessing it has been to move to Kuna. A quaint, quiet and friendly town with the train whispering from a distance. The kid next door owns a scooter with an engine that is encased in a cooler, which makes us giggle every time it shoots across the street. We definitely feel at home here, ahhhhhh! A few new things, Myles is obsessed, I say obsessed with the garage door opener. He sits in the jeep pressing the button like a feen, then jumps up and down with the biggest smile ever.

Myles has also grown a love for tools and fiddling in the garage with dad.

Dad and Dustin were building shelves in the garage. Myles was ecstatic over the air compressor, here is a photo and video.

I have been terrified over the stupid snake I found in the flower bed on April 1st. I accused Jay of setting this up for April fools, and apparently he had nothing to do with it, it was from the previous tenants. Instead of throwing it away, when I find it, I scream, then throw it. We've been doing a lot of yard cleanup and I had thrown a pile of weeds over the snake. As I was gathering the weeds, again, the snake gets the best of me. It seems this has been a continuous occurrence, just about daily. I need to set up a camcorder so other's can get enjoyment out of my misery. Darn snake just needs to be thrown away. I've been saving it to take to work with me for some entertainment, but just can't get myself to pick it up and ride with it in the car. I'm glad Myles isn't bothered by this ferocious creature.

A boy and his trampoline.

Something Myles has always loved to do was jump, so jumping Myles shall do! Here is video right after Jay and Dustin set it up. He's an old pro.

Here is video of Myles counting to 10, he now can count to 14, what a smart little fella!

Found, one connector!

Alas, we have found it, MIA for weeks now. Let the downloading begin, here are photo's of Myles second birthday. Since we were right in the middle of a move, Myles had a simple birthday. Jay and I took Myles to Monkey business where Myles had a blast, then grandma and grandpa Ashton came over to wish Myles a happy birthday.

Next up for business, Myles just loves Elmo, so Elmo themed it was. The cupcakes were fun to make, and Myles loved them.
After effects of the cupcake........Myles airborne! Grandma Linda, Sheila, Josh and Dustin came to wish our little buddy a happy birthday too! Happy birthday sweet Myles.

Where oh where could it be?

Anyone seen which box we packed the connector piece to download photo's to the computer? Yep, me neither, which is why I haven't posted anymore pictures of Myles birthday and his ramblings around the new casa. Hmm, it's somewhere around here, and as soon as I find it, I will dedicate an hour of pure posting, I promise.
