Myles first strawberry
Another first for Myles happened the other day. Myles first abrasion. With great anticipation and excitement, Myles took off like lightning out the back door. Forgetting about the concrete/grass transition, Myles took a biff. We are amazed at how rough and tumbling Myles is at how long it took to use first aid on the little man. It's time to dust off the trusty first aid kit and strap it to our hips like a fanny pack.
A handy item a friend of ours gave Myles. She knew what was coming, raising boy's. Thank you!

What a bully!
As you know, Myles loves the hose. He used to be thrilled with watering the flower's, grass and dirt, but lately he has taken a liking to soaking us, even chasing us with the water.
Here he is taking a break from chasing me and my old lady leg's, he's a quick little squirt. Here he begins taunting dad with the hose, and so the fun really begins!
Myles at this point is holding Jay captive inside the house. Anytime Jay opens the door, even an inch, Myles wildly points the hose straight his direction, as if he is saying
"I just dare you, old man."
Happy Father's Day Dad
Today was a day to celebrate dad. We couldn't ask for anything more. Loving, kind, funny and supportive are just a few traits Jay blesses us with each day.
One request on Jay's to do list for father's day was 4-wheeling in the desert, something that the boy's just love. Myles hoots and holler's with each thrilling hill, bump and corner.
Myles made a card for dad.
Father's day dinner, what more could a man ask for.....red meat, potatoes and a cold drink. My boys are happy.
Desert included carrot cake cupcakes. The icing got us a bit hyper, with photo's to prove our wickedly fun desert.
Myles sharing his cupcake with Dad, what a mess!

Water boy
As duly noted, Myles loves to play in the water. Changing clothes multiple time daily seems a bit wasteful, so meh, who needs clothes these days anyways?
Working on his jeep just like Dad does.
Tires, check, engine, check, redneck KC lights working, check.....let's roll!
I wish this picture would have turned out more clear. Myles saying "cheese", while smiling at the camera. Hold still young man, mom needs to pinch your cheeks!

Conversations on our way home today.
Myles: Mom, sippy please......mom gives Myles sippy
Myles: Thank you.
Mom: Your welcome Myles.
Myles talking to his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse characters and stickers in his book: Please sticker's, thank you stickers, your welcome stickers.
It's official, we have the cutest, happiest, cheesy grinned, most polite child ever!

Outing with Dad
Well, we have been searching for our camera for a while now, unfortunately missing a lot of great photo ops, but this will be a motivator to seek out more fun and play. What's new in Myles universe you ask? He loves to draw and color circles and triangles. He could sit for 20 minutes straight perfecting his shapes, it's amazing. He also loves trucks and tractors, making the noise's, driving over his little people, buzz and woody as a typical little boy does. It's so exciting to see his little personality come alive and what a sweet spirit he is. Anytime he takes a drink from his sippy or has a snack, he offers a taste to anyone around. I'm so happy he loves to share. We spend a lot of time at Settler's Park running through the never ending sprays of water, slides, swings and obstacle courses.
Myles starts swim lessons at the Y next month and we can't wait to see how he reacts. He could play all day in water, but he hasn't had a lot of experience in a pool setting, so this will be a hoot!
Jay's youngest brother, Zach graduated from boot camp last week. Congratulations Zach, we are so proud of you. He had a 10 day leave before returning to Georgia, so the boy's spent his last day in the desert. The only appropriate way to start a warm day in the desert is an ice cream cone.

Zach man showing off his Army skills. Good luck there guy when you get to Virginia!
