How can something be just so perfect. Two beautiful people, one wonderful child......families unite.

Myles stole the camera from us and decided to capture his own shots.....

Good work, young man.

                                                   The big day, Lauren graduates!

Detrik and Myles playing together, waiting for this party to start. Myles decided to graffiti the chairs by strategically placing stickers under the chairs.

Taking a quick snooze on Detriks lap
Cheers to all of your hard work Lauren. What a beautiful women that we are so lucky to have in our lives.
Now I ask this again......how can something be just so perfect. Two beautiful people, one wonderful child? It's easy, it's called LOVE.

Cleaning up the yard, leaves in a pile, hmmmm...what can we do with that? Thumbs up little buddy!

Swimming in a sea of beautiful leaves, that's what we can do!
Myles good friend came to play for the morning and they had a ton of fun together.
First off, breakfast, with a conversation of........what the pumpkin....what the sippy....what the yogurt, with bellows of laughter following.
They are just so cute together.
Next up, bringing out their inner Picasso with a few pictures to paint.
And what's a play date without play dough.....I say that wouldn't be a proper play date!
Thanksgiving day at our house. A fun, quiet evening filled with too much food and movies.
                                                 Can't forget cuddling with Grandma.
And an early stop by Santa, dropping off the train that Myles just adores, which should be decoration underneath the tree, but instead is another track draped across the living room, watching each part break off, then hours upon hours of gluing. Ahhh, the memories we create!

I get by with a little help from my friends......

Myles taking Poncho for a Jeep ride. I just love this picture, Myles excitement and Poncho's tongue.
Filling up the Jeep with a little gas.

Myles just loves his play dough. He can play with it for literally hours.
Myles was so excited to see a card for addressed to him in the mail.

Halloween 2012

This year, Halloween was so much fun, actually, I can't remember a Halloween that wasn't fun since we've been blessed by little Myles.
Another wonderfully fun Halloween spent at Aspen Rehab with his buddies, meandering the halls blowing fire on all of the trick or treater's and patients.

                                                             Myles best friends

Einy meeny miny moe, so many wonderful treats, Myles decided he needed one candy corn. Good choice buddy.
Candy Land was the theme for our Therapy Staff this year, which they decorated perfectly. They also had a cotton candy machine!

Roaming the halls of Aspen, making his second rounds with his buddy Jack.
Next stop, Grandma and Grandpa Ashton's house.
This is dragon Myles way of saying "fantastic, I love skittles"
                                                                 Roaaaaaarrrrrr
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Ashton!
All together now, the dragon and his dragon trainers. Happy Halloween everyone!

All in a day

Myles was invited to one of his classmates birthday party on Saturday. Several of his school buddies were there and they had so much fun playing together. Some in costumes, some not.

Later that day, we met up with his other school buddy at Linder Farms. Myles has been talking about this train all year long. Alas, he's back on the train!

Out scouting for the perfect pumpkin.
The rule was, if you can pick it up, you can have it. This one was a bit obese for Myles.
Oh Myles and your cheesy grins!

The kids were so excited to see the "ghost pumpkins."

About the fourth time now on the train, he just can't get enough.
I just love this picture. Getting a good photo of your child flying by at maximum speed is proven to be tricky. I lucked out and got this spectacular one. I just want to reach into the computer and pinch his little cheeks!
The jump house is always a hit. I wish the photo below turned out less blurry. Myles and his buddy decided that sitting down on the slide was just too boring. They decided to do summer salts down the bouncy house of goodness. It was funny to watch.
And again, another cheesy photo op!
After a good round of hot cocoa and donuts, Myles freaked out in a jig, dancing to the old fiddlers in the background. Oh Halloween, how we love you!
