Happy Birthday Myles!

It's hard to believe it's been 3 years ago today that we were so blessed. What a life changing moment, new love, new relationships and bonds that hold tighter and more dearer than anything could shake.

A boy just so loved and so special. How could the stars alignment been anything more perfect and beautiful than this.

Hooray everybody, it's my birthday!

Opening presents before his big party. I love how he opens and inspects, turning the movies around to see the pictures displayed.

He was just so thrilled to see his new Percy train to add to his collection.

Dad helping him carefully remove his beloved new pal.
LET THE PARTY BEGIN!
Myles and his best bud, Kierra. As she sat down to go down the slide, Myles was standing. As she began to slide, uncontrollably, Myles fell, then ended up head first down the slide. Ending upright, it was the funniest thing to see!
Myles and his buddies playing with blocks and trucks. Good times with the boys!
Myles most favorite area in the whole place.......the train.

Getting ready to sing "Happy Birthday." He was so excited, a room packed of Myles lovers!
Blowing through his teeth, he successfully blows out his 3 candles on the second try.
Yes, the icing is bright blue, each kid, and some adults with stained lips. Baahaaaaa.

My dream come true. Waiting patiently for this moment. My son opening up his presents with all of his buddies around.

Kierra and Jack, his two besties playing Foosball.
Uncle Josh and Grandpa Bart hanging out, watching him open up one last present.

We are so grateful for all of the love surrounding our little man. Sitting together in one small room, all celebrating Myles big day, it is clear. He is one special little boy, loved by many.

J+J+D+L+G+B+S= WE LOVE MYLES!

Play time with Lauren and Detrik at our house.
Next up, dinner the following day with Lauren's family.

Detrik and Myles putting puzzles together.
Bob's turn to put the Thomas the Train puzzle together with Myles.
Lauren and Gerry with Myles. He just loves his new puzzle and book.

Myles and his birthday cupcake Lauren made. I just love this photo.
"Mmmmm, this candle looks mighty tasty" is apparently what was going through Myles head.
"Never mind, not exactly as tasty as I thought". Dad doing a finger swipe to eject the corner of the candle he bit off.

What a wonderful family.

So grateful to be a part of something so beautiful.

Dinner with Aunt Toni

We had a wonderful time spending a couple of hours with a special person. She came to town for some business and we were able to see her and spend a quick few hours catching up. It was so good to see her, sitting together felt like "home" once again. We can't believe it's been 7 month's since Toni, Lisa and Bradi moved to Florida and we miss them like crazy!
Myles definitely too excited to sit and take a picture.
Ketchup straight from the bottle, why mess around with dipping the fry anyway? Yep, Aunt Toni is pretty cool! Myles just loved it.....
Can you tell?
A couple rounds at the Candy Crane before we go for a quick jog.
Toni and Myles ran together, hand in hand in the parking lot. It was so cute to watch.
What a wonderful evening, hard to say goodbye again. We love you Toni, Lisa and Bradi and can't wait to see you again very soon!
