Boise Hawks

We were invited to a company get together at a Boise Hawks game last week and as you can see, we had a blast. This was Myles first baseball game and although Myles didn't get the prize for #1 sports spectator, he had fun, especially on the jump house.

At this point in the game Myles was really thrilled. Playing with kids, running, jumping, screaming. The highlight though was running as fast as he could, barreling in and out of the plastic tables and chairs. " How long can mom stay upright without nose-diving into one of those tables while she's chasing me?"

"I curse you team Oregon", as Myles casts his spell on the opposing team.

A benefit for adoption/foster parenting was being held at the game that night. Each $1 ball bought could be thrown at the end of the game. Whomever was closest to the bullseye won half the pot, the rest went to the adoption/foster parenting program. WAY TO GO JAY.......errrrr, I mean Mitch! Jay bought lots of balls, our buddy Mitch threw some of those, one of which was the winner! $120.00 was the winning pot, of which Jay re-donated back to the program. What a fun night!

Jump Creek 2012

We headed to Jumps Creek in search of a waterfall Myles could see firsthand. After a short hike, CACHOW, we found the beloved waterfall, but only spent a few minutes there due to some fellow waterfall-seeker's which were a bit more colorful and rambunctious than the type of company we were searching for like lizards and water skippers. So we ventured off to find a quieter, more secluded area and here were are folks.

However inappropriate this picture may be and how disturbed Myles may be seeing this when he grows up, blah, its cute. Myles doing his business out in the wilderness. Only the proudest parent takes pictures of this, or the most disturbed. Still weighing my choice on this one.

Throwing rocks, more rocks, hiking, looking for spiders and getting filthy dirty were a few checks we crossed off for the day.
                                                                  Yep, a good day!

Memorial Day at Celebration Park

It's the little things that are really special and important. Enjoying Memorial Day at Celebration Park together was a good day. Either Jay or I have had to work on Memorial Day, until this year! What a good, good day it was. Together as a family.

Myles didn't give us the memo it was a goofy face pose. Sorry Myles, but this one's a keeper.

Our raised garden Jay built, just needs some stain and veggies!

Myles play set in the backyard. He just loves playing on this, we are so happy!

Myles has a lot of new friends in our new neighborhood. Most of the kids are older, but love playing with him.
All tuckered out from so much play, he just couldn't keep his eyes open any longer.

Myles showing off his Lightning McQueen and Mac, of which he adores!

                                                         Why hello there handsome!

Trying to get everything all settled in, Myles is worn out, relaxing in his chair

Long time no see......

We have officially moved.....again and can finally say we are settled in. I am really, really behind on posting, so I will try my best to play catch up. Myles loves Mickey Mouse, especially his book. He's memorized each part of this book and recites it back.
