All in a day

Myles was invited to one of his classmates birthday party on Saturday. Several of his school buddies were there and they had so much fun playing together. Some in costumes, some not.

Later that day, we met up with his other school buddy at Linder Farms. Myles has been talking about this train all year long. Alas, he's back on the train!

Out scouting for the perfect pumpkin.
The rule was, if you can pick it up, you can have it. This one was a bit obese for Myles.
Oh Myles and your cheesy grins!

The kids were so excited to see the "ghost pumpkins."

About the fourth time now on the train, he just can't get enough.
I just love this picture. Getting a good photo of your child flying by at maximum speed is proven to be tricky. I lucked out and got this spectacular one. I just want to reach into the computer and pinch his little cheeks!
The jump house is always a hit. I wish the photo below turned out less blurry. Myles and his buddy decided that sitting down on the slide was just too boring. They decided to do summer salts down the bouncy house of goodness. It was funny to watch.
And again, another cheesy photo op!
After a good round of hot cocoa and donuts, Myles freaked out in a jig, dancing to the old fiddlers in the background. Oh Halloween, how we love you!

Boise Aquarium

Myles loves anything that has to do with water. Swimming, fish, turtles, sharks. We decided we needed to take him to the aquarium to let him check it all out.
He just loved it. Feeding the fish, touching the Stingray and Sharks, he couldn't get enough.

The aquarium was terrific, so many things are interactive, kids can touch and feel so many displays.
The one display Myles was not so keen on was the iguana roaming around the building. He kept a close distance monitoring this scaly beast.
Myles hanging out at the touch/tide pool.

This bird called a "puffin" was so interesting to watch. He would float atop the water for a few moments, then dive into the water, swimming with furry.

Who can resist those cheesy photo ops? Well this cheesy certainly can't.

                                                   Yet another wonderful day together.

Fifth Annual Pumpkin Shenanigans

It's that time of year to bring out the Shenanigans, pumpkins shenanigans that is!
We decided to focus on efficiancy this year, so we brought out the good old drill set. Myles had fun, it looked good and we were finished in just over a half an hour. All in all a good choice.

Add some spray paint and walla, the finished product! We just love our friends and Pumpkin Shenanigans~

Preparation for Halloween!

We decided to kick off the Halloween activities by creating a creepy Halloween scene which included licorice, candy corn, chocolate icing and graham crackers. It was a hit, we all had a blast!
Myles was so proud of his work, I was shocked he could keep his work of art intact for as long as he did.

Then, everything went all awry. This time Myles did not start this food fight, without giving it away, it was one of the "responsible adults."
Next up, Myles Preschool Fall Carnival. He still loves his Thomas Trains, but close in second place is dragons...ooooooh scarry! Myles likes to breath fire on innocent people in the grocery store, school, bank teller's, hair dressers and such. Now that he has his dragon costume on, people are less apt to be confused by this breathy force of wind protruding from his mouth.
Myles rolling pumpkins down the hill at the Pumpkin bowling game.
What's a fall carnival in Kuna Idaho without Goats?
Bet you've never seen a dragon climbing up a play set before, have you?

Dragon making an attempt at the donut game. I think he may have taken a bite out of multiple donuts, which makes this game highly sanitary. I cringe to think how many other kids drooling mouths took a gander at those same donuts earlier. Mmmmmmm
Holy Cow......Is that a dragon hiding in the woods?
Myles the dragon and one of his best friends, Unicorn. They are so cute!
