Another amazing night spent with Lauren, Detrik and family. Looking back on the way over, Jay and I reflecting over the first day spent all together. The nervous/anxious feelings of wonder filled the room. Quickly, this dissipated, now only pure excitement, joy and love are the only feelings that fill our souls.

A family meant to share and love.

Myles in Love

Alright, lets rewind a few years back. When Myles was a wee baby, we found this rather funny, ahhh, this feels good on his gums, he's teething, right?

Now, fast forward to now.......I just think Myles has a major crush.....on himself. Trying to get him all jazzed up, hair all manly and such, after finishing, this is what follows:

Time to wipe off the slobber before round two begins.
Some moms complain of picking up toys, food, upright toilet seats, dirty clothes.....I get to wipe off slobbery mirrors!

Dillows ATA Martial Arts

Myles had his second field trip with his Preschool at Dillow's ATA Martial Arts in Kuna. He had so much fun with his buddies running, kicking and attempting a jumping jack and a criss cross applesauce.   We now practice the criss cross applesauce at home. I just love how he tries to do it in the video!

As Mr. Dillow begins his instruction, Myles belts out "My name is Myles."

Myles is to the top left of this video.....I just love how he runs in place.
It appears Myles is going in for a kiss with the girl on the left. He tells us no he wasn't.
Doing the bear crawl

Working on his punches with his buddy Zadie.

Now let's work out those kicks!

On a different subject, Myles really likes the head lamp Jay got for Christmas.
I especially adore this photo of him trying to look at the light on his head, hence the cross-eyed feature!

Christmas Day 2012

Myles was a good boy this year, because Santa came to the Bantz household!

Opening presents and more presents, our front room was a disaster! After opening everything up, Myles decided to play with one of the two toy's he asked Santa for, Cranky the Crane. Oh how I wish I would have picked up the camera, but shame shame I didn't. Myles fell asleep just minutes into playing on the floor right next to his toy. Poor buddy, still not feeling well just needed more sleep.
Next up, Grandma Lester's house for some more fun and games and food too! Holy cow, a spider man airplane that he plays with all of the time. Thank you Uncle Rob!

What, did grandma get Myles a "sticky train," what myles likes to call magnetic trains. He really really loved this toy, shocker I know!

What a sad picture, but this really says it all on how Myles was feeling. Trying to be happy, behaved and energetic for the Holiday's, he did his very best. We love you buddy, sorry you were so sick.

At the very end of the evening, we got a glimpse of our little Myles again.
Fast forward to the next day and.............................

                                                          Myles is in the house!!!!!!!!

So excited about his new dragon he played and played all day long with his new toy's. So glad to have everyone well again and the chance to see friends and family for the Holiday's, that's what its all about!

Merry Christmas Eve Everybody!

Myles still not feeling so hot was still in the Christmas spirit! Awaiting his 2 presents he could open on Christmas Eve, he was excited!
Woot, woot, the Phineas's and Ferb pajama's he always wanted. Yea right, what kid wants to open pajama's? He really dug the spider man slipper's though.
Myles and Dad opening up his Superman Pajama's.

Myles was really happy to see a "toy" present.
After spreading the Reindeer food outside, we decided to get Myles all tucked into bed for a good night sleep. As Myles walked into his room, he found a Round Trip ticket to the "Christmas Lights Express" that Santa must have left on his pillow. We ventured to the car to find the car all nice and cozy with Christmas music and hot cocoa waiting for us in the car. We drove around town, looking at Christmas lights, sipping cocoa. Myles really enjoyed it, and so did we. What a perfect way to spend Christmas Eve. Thank you Santa!

Poor Little Fella

Who would have guessed Myles was going to be really sick for Christmas this year. Not us, by this photo and his playful and happy day, nothing clued us in that he was going to be really sick.
                                                          Starting tonight........
We planned on going on a ride on Santa's slay this evening, but as we were the very next in line to jump into Santa's sleigh, Myles had other plans. Covered full of stomach contents, instead we headed for the showers.
We got Myles a Christopher Pop-in-Kins and hide it in different locations all month long. He just loved this little guy.
Here's Myles a couple of day's into the flu. This is the most sick he's been, poor little guy. He slept and slept and slept. Lesson learned. We will load up on the Vitamin C next year and hopefully avoid the stomach flu for Christmas!

A Meeting with Santa

What.....Santa comes to the Kuna Pauls Market too?
Myles Preschool held there Christmas Party at Just Kid'n Around. Not only did Santa stop by for a quick chat with the kids, but all of his school buddies played all evening long together. What a fun night! I love the photo above, Myles rattled on and on about the dragon castle and cranky the crane he wanted for Christmas.

Myles teacher, Mrs. Diana assessing there monkey skills. I believe they got an A+

Bantz Family Pictures 2012

It's that time of year again to get dressed all snazzy and head out for some family pics. We thought it would only be appropriate to head somewhere with trains, since one family member is still completely obsessed!

Oh, this picture is just priceless. Myles had anything but Joy on his mind, I'm sure if he knew of some, a few choice words would have been spoken at this very moment. What the heck, if you can't beat em, join em. This is what the Bantz family think's of you, stinking Joy!

Oh what a wonderful year it has been!
