When we asked Myles what he wanted to be for Halloween, he yells out "a hammerhead shark." We knew he liked hammerhead sharks, so it wasn't a surprise, but we weren't sure how to incorporate this as a family.
So, we came up with scuba divers and a hammerhead. Behind us is our fancy tanks made up of 2 liter soda bottles sprayed with silver spray paint and homemade flippers made from cardboard.
We were invited to a couple of Halloween parties this year, so our Halloween was extra exciting and fun.
Myles made lots of new friends.
By far, the cutest darn hammerhead shark I've ever seen!
Next up, is Jack's Halloween party. Myles has several costumes he likes to get dressed up in, so for this party, he wanted to be Optimus Prime. All of the kids played in costume on the trampoline. This was very entertaining to watch.
Time to bit the donut hanging from the string. Myles really struggled getting ahold of this tasty treat with his teeth.
So, here comes along his buddy and her Jack, here to save the day.
Myles and his friend, Noah.
Noah, Dillon, Myles and Jack all in costume, ready for anything!
Last up is my works trick or treating extravaganza. This time Myles decided to go with the trusty batman costume. His friend Zadie joined him for this round.
Our friend Alexus. We love her.
On the actual Halloween day, we went to my work and stopped by Alexus's house. At this point Myles wanted to go home, instead of continuing trick or treating in our neighborhood so he could pass out candy to kids. We loved how much fun he had passing out candy, rather than receiving it for himself. The best part was seeing Myles face when his favorite buddy from school, Izzy showed up at our house to trick or treat. He was so excited!
