Splish, Splash!

It's official.......Myles loves the water! The last few weekends, we've spent soaking up the sun in the pool. Extra sunblock used, of course. Myles is a natural swimmer. As we placed him in the Cadillac of floaties, he immediately started kicking his feet under the water! He was so content just soaking in the water, smiling and splashing. I think this means we shall take him for swim lesson's at the YMCA, Yaaayyyyy! Jay had filled our not so amazing plastic pool one fine, hot day, we decided to just splash around and get our toes wet. Well, too much fun was being had, and before we knew it, all of us were soaking wet, with our clothes on. Gosh, what a fun day it was.

Myles is 4 months!

How time flies lately, seems just like yesterday, bringing our baby boy home with us. Here are pictures from his 3 month photo's. Myles had his 4 month well check today. He weighs 14lbs, 6oz and 24" long, officially. He also had the routine vaccines, which Jay was able to witness for the first time, since he had to work the last appt. I think Jay took the shot's harder than Myles. He had a highly disturbed look on his face seeing Myles cry, and face turn red. Next time, I'll have Jay sit down, just in case he feels faint, my poor men! I hope you enjoy the blog and seeing Myles grow, so quickly. We are so glad we are able to share the joy we have with Myles through the blog, and can keep everyone updated. What a blessing it is, and to be able to share it with my sister, Tonya, who's currently living in Panama......I do miss you sister, and my parents, serving a mission in the Philippines. We can't wait for you to come home and see this handsome boy at last!

4th of July at Cascade and Uncle Troy visits!

July has been lot's of fun so far and busy, busy, busy. Myles laughed out loud for the first time last week! Unfortunately in bad timing. We were watching the Michael Jackson Memorial on t.v, and while Brooke Shields gave her tearful speech, for some reason, Myles let out a belly laugh! Highly inappropriate I know, he must have learned that from Jay, but it was too cute. We now do just about any stupid trick to get him to giggle, we probably look pretty freaky. We took Myles to Cascade to see the fireworks for the fourth, and also got to see Uncle Troy who came down from Washington. It was his first time meeting Myles, what a proud day it was, showing off our little man! Myles is definitely an outdoors man, loves staring at the water, especially all of the koi fish when he visits Jay at his work. Nothing else soothes him as much as starring outside, gazing at all the bold, vivid colors. Jay is a proud dad and can't wait to take him exploring. Also, Myles is taking his first Yoga class! I have high hopes he will soon be a highly skilled yoga master, so there's no time to waste. Okay, I'm exaggerating. He actually lye's on the end of the mat and watches the random acts of poses, wondering what all of the shenanigan's are all about. Jay is highly focused right now, trying to prepare Myle's first Halloween costume. This is the favorite time of year at our house, and I'm sure Jay is going to come up with something highly entertaining. Can't wait till October to post some pictures.

Having lot's of fun with Myles, as shown above! Myles will soon have another cousin, a baby girl, named Aphie! The picture above is at her baby shower a few day's ago. Jay loves to imitate each face Myles makes, I must admit, makes great photo's! Jay and Myles sat down on the gym floor, and had fun playing with all of the kids, running around and having a blast. Can't wait to meet little Aphie. Great grandma, Millie came to visit Myles last week, Myles was so content, lying in her arms. It was so great to see the smile and joy on Millie's face, at last, parents! Myles is a rock and roller, rolling the minute he gets on his stomach. He loves to suck on his fists, a photo which I'll include on the next post, it's hilarious. Jay has made up a song he sings each time he places his fist in his mouth, and it goes.......My finger's taste like chocolate, my finger's taste like chocolate. Dancing, and crazy background noises included. Myles giggles and smiles every time. We went on our first mall excursion, which was quite amusing. Trying to figure out how to get the stroller on the escalator's is quite entertaining for all of the mall goers. We had to find that perfect outfit for Myle's 3 month photo shoot, coming next week!
