Christmas 2014

Oh beloved Christmas, what a fun time of year! Several classes at school worked on Christmas songs throughout December and had a field trip to a local care center, spreading some holiday cheer by singing to them. Myles is at the very bottom sitting down. He was so proud of the songs he learned, he continues to sing them every day.

We had several "gifts" this year for Christmas and we are definitely blessed. Lauren, Detrik and Daxton visiting us was a huge gift.
Myles thanks the Luffel family for the Superhero book and flashlight!
Another gift we are so lucky to have is Myles second cousin, Amaya. She is so precious!
Myles was thrilled on Christmas eve when he found the Christmas express ticket under his pillow. Running to the warm car, cocoa mugs filled to the brim, with Christmas music on the car radio, heading out to go see Christmas lights. Myles says "Santa is so sweet getting me this penguin cup with cocoa and putting in the jeep for me." Santa is amazing Myles!
Wind blowing and snow falling, the reindeer food just had to be sprinkled on the yard for Santa to find us.
And it worked.........Santa found us, Myles was thrilled that Santa took note of him being a good boy.

One time item Santa stuffed in Myles stocking was the cheese in a can. He loves this delicatessen.

                                                              Christmas Selfies!
Cousin Kodi and Jay's family spent the evening with us. This was definitely a Christmas we will never forget1

Mrs Kohli sure loves her homework. Too much play, Myles is now playing catch up on all of his homework.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. This morning I heard the front door open.  Heading to the front door, I see Myles running towards the house with his jammies still on, socks only trudging through the snow covered driveway. I asked "myles, what are you doing out there." He said "hiding my toy snake in the mailbox to scare the mail lady again." Two thumbs up sir, glad to see we have another lover of practical jokes in our household! Below Myles proudly holding up the snakes he was putting in the mailbox.

A few things about Myles these days
He's quirky. He loves to be silly and laugh. He's an entertainer. A very good entertainer that is.

His favorite thing to do these day's is draw. He loves to draw sharks, snakes, snails, bugs, crabs, jellyfish and sea scorpions. He loves drawing pictures for people. The smile he gets when he hand delivers his art is priceless.

He's loving school too. He has made it clear that he loves his teacher Miss Kohli, but  does not  want to marry her. He's starting to read, and the excitement on his face when he sounds out the letters and recognizes the word is so much fun to watch.

So to recap this post. Myles is a wonderful boy. We are lucky to know him, love him, teach and nurture this little angel.

Halloween 2014

Myles school had fun after school activities the week of Halloween.

A classroom with snakes, tarantulas and a tortoise was defiantly everybodys favorite.

A 5 year old boy's struggle of choosing which costume to wear for Halloween is tormenting to a young lad. Myles has a few costumes he likes to dress up in, so why choose one right?
Grandma Linda's trunk or treat with his cute cousin Kodi the ladybug and Myles the Power Ranger.
Very creepy, yet funny witch. She had her costume on backwards, very very clever.
                                                            Bucket of loot #1.

1 down, 2 more to go! Our neighbors trunk or treat.
William the cop and Myles, aka Optimus Prime.
                                                               Bag of loot #2

Bag of loot #3 not photographed, this time he was Wolverine at Aspen.  Another fun Halloween that just flew right on by!
