Computer has the flu..........

Hello all, well our computer has been a bit under the weather for the past several weeks now. Poor little guy. Until our superhero, Rob, not only brother, but also Apple Genius visits for Christmas and performs open mac surgery, we will be using an IBM. Being the special one that I am, figuring out how to download photo's and all that jazz is prooving to be difficult. It's been awhile since I've used anything other than apple. I shall take a tutorial this afternoon from my niece, "young thang", Danielle. Hopefully I can post some pictures this evening of all the fun we've been having, including hosting our first Thanksgiving dinner without casualty! Take care everyone.

Myles says his first word!

Well, Myles said his first word yesterday, cheeseburger, can you believe it! Okay, that's a flat out lie. His first word was dada. He say's it none stop dada dada dada. It's so darn cute. I must admit, I've been doing my best at saying mama at least twenty times a day since he was born, hoping he would be influenced in some way...........He also is now munching on organic teething cookies. He pounds it on his high chair tray, then nibbles, then again, pounds, it's quite entertaining. Also, his new favorite activity in the bath? Jay squirting him with his water toy's. Myles laugh's and laughs, it the cutest thing. As soon as I figure out how to post video, I'll get it on. Another favorite of Myles, is washing his hands in the sink. He could do this all day, of which he has dish pan hands at an awfully young age. Poor little guy!

Best Halloween ever!

It's official. By far, this was the best Halloween ever. The day before Halloween, we stopped by Auntie Danielle's work for trick or treating, then my work's annual trick or treat fest. Patient's sit outside there room, handing out handfuls of candy. Each year, patiently waiting to participate, yep, this was our year. Kids running up and down the halls in all of there cute costumes, and maybe showing off Myles a little, okay alot.
Halloween day, we spent the day making halloween cookies, and doing a little bit of wrestling and goofing off with Myles. We got him a Johnny Jumper, so he spent a good part of the day spazzing out on it.
Let the dress up begin.........we had to stop by Auntie Danielle's for a quick photo op, then off to Trunk or Treat where we raised the roof, okay, not so much. Afterwards, we headed to Harrison blvd and had a blast. So many kids dressed up, running from house to house, just like I remember halloween as a kid. Then we stopped by a house where they put on a production of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. It was soooo cool to watch, what a fabulous job they did. After we got home, we threw the candy on the floor while Myles rummaged through all of the noisy wrappers. Jay and I scoured through all of the sugary goodness, eating as much as we could, knowing this would be the only year we could get away with it. So, there it is, the story of our best Halloween ever! Thank you Myles for making it the best and being the cutest son ever!
